In this ever-changing admissions landscape, Marcy understands the value that college counselors provide in guiding students through each unique journey. As a parent of college-aged children, she has seen the benefit of seasoned professionals and support systems in helping make sense of what can otherwise be an overwhelming process.
Marcy brings strategic insight and creative problem solving to CBC from her tenure in marketing, consulting, and advisory board positions. Her exceptional client management and project management skills help navigate students from start to finish — in a thoughtful and organized manner. She truly enjoys working with teenagers: helping tell their stories, being a cheerleader, and as an honest advisor.
Marcy earned her College Counseling Certificate from UC San Diego. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a BFA in Industrial Design and an MBA from DePaul University. In her free time, she enjoys adventure travel, photography, exploring Chicago, and writing articles for her travel blog website.
Marcy had a summer internship at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, working and living with college students from across the U.S. and the world.
