Tell me about the quality of the feedback that my student will get?
The better written and complete the essay we receive from the student, the more strategic feedback and editing our consultants can provide. Each essay will be returned with a rating: 1 (it's a good start), 2 (good but needs improvement), or 3 (very polished). Essays rated 1 or 2 will benefit from subsequent CBC Express orders.
Do I have to pay the full price again for a second review?
Yes. Our consultants give the same time and attention to all reviews.
I placed an order, now what do I do next?
Download the digital file for directions on how to send the essay (Google Doc file) to your consultant. Within 48 hours of receiving your essay, we will return a copy with comments and editing suggestions. Use our expert feedback to update and enhance your essay. Happy writing!
What do I do if I place an order and don't see the confirmation email with the digital download for instructions?
Please check your spam folder. You will also get an immediate confirmation in your browser with an arrow to download the digital file for instructions.
What if I have more than one supplemental essays for a college?
One CBC Express order per college. Our consultant's feedback and rating will be based on the quality and complexity of the essays. Note that business portfolios, honors college essays, etc. are not included in this service.
Will it help for me to also send you a PDF of my application?
You may send us any supporting information that will help with the review of your essay. However, it is up to the discretion of the consultant as to how much time they spend "getting to know" this material.
How do I schedule a meeting?
CBC Express is 100% asynchronous.
