Anita Moriarty ...

Anita founded College Bound Consulting in 2007, and has now counseled over 100 students from 26 different high schools.  Anita’s sound advice and organization will allow your family to feel confident about making appropriate college choices. As the mother of three children, Anita understands that the high school years are exciting, emotional, and hectic for the whole family. The college admissions process is about new beginnings for your teenager. Anita is forward-thinking, and enjoys working with teenagers to explore all the possibilities that lie ahead.

Anita earned a BA in Economics from Stanford University and graduated from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She is an Associate Member of the IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association), and has taken numerous classes through the UCLA College Counseling Certificate program.

Studies Colleges and College Trends

Anita spends a significant amount of time traveling to colleges and universities during the school year – something that most high school guidance counselors are not able to do. She is an avid reader, annually attends professional conferences, and subscribes to college counseling e-lists in order to keep clients current on developments and trends in college admissions.
